Supportive, Equitable and Inclusive Community
Supportive, Equitable and Inclusive Community
We aim to provide a supportive, equitable and inclusive community with our members. The mental and physical wellbeing of our members is a priority. We support and follow the Pony Club Australia's (PCA) National Integrity Framework developed by Sport Integrity Australia. Sports integrity means the manifestation of the ethics and values that promote community confidence in sport. It covers child safeguards, improper drug use, competition manipulation, disputes, complaints and discipline policy and more.
How can I access the National Integrity Framework?
The framework is located on PCA's website. For ease of access, we have provided the links below on the various policies that make up the National Integrity Framework.
- Code of Conduct
- Personal Grievance Policy
- Whistleblower Policy

How can I ensure my children are safe?
Our Club has a zero-tolerance policy to child abuse and neglect in any form. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in our activities, by ensuring that everyone involved in Pony club is educated and informed of their responsibilities to protect and look after children or vulnerable people. All Committee Members obtain a Blue Card upon joining the committee and undertake necessary training to ensure a safe environment for children.
We follow the Safeguarding Children Policies which are available on PCAs website.
How can I report a complaint?
Pony Club should be a fun, fair and safe place for everyone to enjoy learning to ride and care for horses. Unfortunately, sometimes our passion for our horse pursuits results in unacceptable behaviours that should be addressed.
Our Club follows PCQ and PCA's complaints and reporting policy and process.
In the first instance you may like to address the issue yourself with the relevant party or alternatively contact a Committee Member. Should you wish to have your matter heard in a confidential manner please email dopcsecretary@outlook.com
A copy of the Pony Club Australia Complaints, Disputes and Discipline Policy can be found on PCA website. If the matter is unable to be resolved at a Club level, complaints made direct to PCA can be made via their website.
